The ISBN manages all aspects of a customer's connectivity. Customers with legacy IP networks do not need to re-address their network and customers building new network infrastructures work from their own private Class C group of IP addresses (254 usable addresses). Via firewall and encryption mechanisms, data flows into the Solomon Galt Private Class A Network, where customer anonymity is created and where access can be granted on a per node basis to Solomon Galt's application services and collocation devices or out to registered IP addresses on the Internet.
This design is flexible enough to allow customers to choose the amount of capital to invest in their own infrastructures or outsource those services to Solomon Galt. Outlined below is a description of how each of the mentioned objectives are met by the ISBN:
- Broadband connectivity is attained through Solomon Galt's wireless communications infrastructure providing high bandwidth connections to the customer.
- Little to no required capital investment due to the design of the ISBN which brings secure connections via a standard Category 5 Ethernet port to a customer site.
- Fast Installations are easily achieved through wireless networking with connectivity established in as little as 1 hour where Solomon Galt has a presence or 5 business days where Solomon Galt needs to build infrastructure.
- Secure connections are created by the firewall and encryption mechanisms incorporated within the ISBN.
- Customized services are attained through the flexibility of the ISBN allowing customers to choose their own level of bandwidth, service offerings and capital investments into their network infrastructure.
